As AI-assisted email spoofs become more sophisticated, users need more than a quick glance at the sender name. EmailKnight helps analyze suspicious email headers beyond standard checks such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, including sender identity, message structure, mail server clues, and header-level spoofing patterns.
It is designed to help users decide whether a message is likely real, suspicious, or spam while learning the logic behind the decision.

Professor Singh, a computer science educator, developed EmailKnight during research on AI-assisted email impersonation. In those simulations, nearly 100% of participating computer science students were deceived by convincing spoofed messages, including technically savvy students with prior coursework in cybersecurity and programming. The results also showed that even educators with substantial industry experience can be vulnerable to well-crafted impersonation attempts.
